평화와 공존의 미술교육: 북한의 미술과 교육

본 학회는 미술교육 관련 학회로는 처음으로 북한의 미술교육에 대한 연구 성과를 발표하는 자리를 마련하였습니다. 그간 미술교육의 담론과 국제적 연구 동향을 선취해 왔던 우리학회가 20주년을 맞아 과감하게 북한의 미술교육을 중심 화두로 삼아 준비해 왔습니다. 오랜 단절의 시간으로 달라진 생각과 가치관의 차이를 해소하기 위한 문화 예술의 역할이 필요하다는 점을 바탕으로 평화와 공존을 위한 미술교육의 가능성을 타진할 필요가 있다는 점에서 본 학술대회를 기획하게 되었습니다. 북한의 미술교육 관련 정보가 부족한 상황에서 지난 1년여 동안 국내외 연구자들의 심도 있는 연구가 진행되었으며, 그 성과를 하나로 모으는 자리를 마련하게 된 것입니다. 

  For the first time as an art education society, this conference has prepared a presentation on the results of research on art education in North Korea. In commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the 20th anniversary of the Korean Society, which has been promoting the discourse of art education and the trend of international research, we have boldly prepared art education in North Korea as the main topic. Based on the need for cultural arts to play a role in bridging the gap between ideas and values that has changed over a long period of time of separation, we have designed this conference in that it is necessary to explore the possibility of art education for peace and coexistence. The lack of information on art education in North Korea has led to an in-depth study by researchers at home and abroad over the past year or so, and has provided a venue for bringing together the results.

이번 학술대회 프로그램에는 최근 북한의 교육과정과 특징 소개, 아동미술 교육 실태, 미술교육의 이론체계와 교육과정 분석, 중국 연길시의 조선족 미술교육 사례, 북한 이탈 청소년의 미술표현, 통일교육을 위한 미술교육의 역할 등의 주제 발표가 있을 예정입니다. 이들 연구 내용을 통해 북한의 미술과 교육의 현황을 개관할 수 있을 것으로 기대합니다. 미술교육의 사회적 참여를 확대하려는 다양한 이론과 실천들이 있어 왔습니다. 본 학술대회는 평화와 공존의 시대를 위한 미술교육의 역할을 묻고, 스스로의 역할을 모색하는 하나의 자리가 될 것입니다. 모쪼록 많은 회원들의 참여와 관심으로 학술대회를 빛내 주시기 바랍니다. 감사합니다.

The program will present topics such as the introduction of North Korea's curriculum and features, the status of children's art education, the analysis of the theoretical system and curriculum of art education, the case of Korean-Chinese art education in Yan Gil, China, the __EXPRESSION__ of art in North Korea, and the role of art education in unification. We hope these studies will provide an overview of the current state of art and education in North Korea. There has been a variety of theories and practices to expand the social engagement of art education. The conference will be an occasion to ask questions about the role of art education and to seek its own role in an era of peace and coexistence. I hope that many members will participate in the conference.
